Bacco Construction's Specialty Concrete Division completed two significant projects at the Soo Locks. The first project, completed in 2010, involved constructing a brand-new tunnel to create an underground walkway between the Poe and McArthur Locks in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. The 8' x 8' x 100' tunnel also serves as a compressed air mechanical piping corridor for all the mechanical operations necessary to keep the Locks running and up to date.
